On January 5 and 6 our LCMS missionaries in Puerto Rico celebrated “Three Kings Day,” the coming of the Magi from the east to visit the child Jesus. Events were held in our new Disaster Response center in Ponce on the 5th and at Principe de Paz Lutheran Church in Mayaguez on the 6th. On the 7th, Rev. Charles St-Onge installed Mr. Gustavo Maita (wife Ruth) and Mr. William Torres (wife Cindy) as Disaster Response workers in Puerto Rico. A great big thank you to all our partners in the United States from Wisconsin to Kentucky who sent gifts for distribution. See pictures of the very busy weekend below:
